Since founding RTI Properties, Inc. in 1986, Robert has built the company into one of the nation’s premier real estate firms, overseeing multiple divisions across various real estate asset classes and service areas. His strategic expansion into RTI Bridge Loans solidified his status as a pioneer in bridge lending and a national authority in this critical sector.

Robert’s expertise in crafting quick and effective financial solutions has made him a trusted figure for investors navigating complex property acquisitions. Over his career, he has led billions in transactions, becoming a key player in the real estate industry. Beyond RTI Bridge Loans, Robert co-founded a Federally chartered bank, where he served as a Bank Board Director and member of the Loan Committee, further enhancing his impact and commitment to real estate finance at the highest level.

About Tom Gans

Tom Gans is the Director of Business Development at RTI Properties’ Bridge Loan division, where he leverages over 30 years of experience in real estate finance to generate new business opportunities. Raised in New York, Tom earned his Arts & Sciences degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. With a career deeply rooted in sales management and marketing, Tom has become a vital contributor to RTI Bridge Loan’s reputation for reliable and high-quality service.

Beginning in financial services on the NY Commodities Exchange trading floor, Tom has since established himself in California’s real estate market, where he has excelled in both residential and commercial business development. His efforts have led to more than 2,200 closed transactions, underscoring his commitment, communication skills, and expertise in real estate finance. Tom’s approach continues to reinforce RTI Bridge Loans’ industry-leading standing for reliability and efficiency.

About Tiara Palazuelos

Tiara Palazuelos is Senior Coordinator of the Business Development & Marketing Division for RTI Properties, Inc. with broad experience in Bridge Loan Financing. Her primary role is to ensure that frontline operations are conducted quickly and efficiently. She is committed alongside her colleagues to provide excellent service and a true RTI experience to investors, borrowers, and other real estate professionals.

Tiara’s career in Commercial Real Estate embarked at RTI Properties, Inc. as a young adult where she began in the company’s property management division. She maintained incredible energy and focus, continuously assisting with projects beyond her normal scope of responsibilities with the goal of understanding and improving processes. She shadowed seasoned individuals at the firm and absorbed their in-depth knowledge. Her passion for problem solving, growth and the guidance from remarkable mentors have driven her to thrive in her career. She is eager to continue applying and developing the skills she has earned over the years to ensure that RTI’s clients’ bridge financing and investment needs are well met.

About Genevieve Zar

Genevieve Zar is a Loan Coordinator at RTI Properties. A proud UCLA graduate, Genevieve’s journey with RTI Properties started as an intern, where her work ethic and keen eye for detail stood out, quickly propelling her into a full-time position. Her passion for real estate stems from early exposure to the industry, thanks to her father’s successful career as a developer and general contractor. This background has provided Genevieve with a well-rounded understanding of the business, allowing her to offer valuable insights to the RTI team.

In her role, Genevieve focuses on giving clients great service and making sure everything runs smoothly. She’s always looking to learn and improve, and she’s ready to contribute to RTI Properties’ continued success.

About Genevieve Zar

Genevieve Zar is a dedicated Loan Analyst/Coordinator at RTI Bridge Loans and an MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Balancing her graduate studies with her professional role, Genevieve brings both academic insight and hands-on experience to the company’s lending operations.

Her journey with RTI began as an intern, where she quickly distinguished herself through her exceptional skills and commitment, earning a full-time position in record time. Genevieve’s early exposure to real estate through her father, a seasoned developer and general contractor, has equipped her with a unique perspective that enriches the RTI team.

At RTI Properties, Genevieve combines her financial acumen and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service to clients and foster strong relationships with brokers, borrowers, and investors. Through her MBA studies, she is expanding her expertise in finance, leadership, and real estate investment to further contribute to RTI’s growth and success.

About Anil Patel

Anil Patel is Senior Director of Capital Markets at RTI Bridge Loans. He is a seasoned real estate executive with over two decades of experience in hospitality ownership, operations, and investment. Throughout his career, Anil has raised hundreds of millions of dollars in debt and equity for projects spanning hospitality, multifamily, and commercial real estate. He has owned, managed, or advised on assets across more than 20 U.S. states, totaling over 10,000 units and $1.2 billion in value. His leadership includes executive roles at firms such as CRU Real Estate Group, Silver Creek Hospitality, and Mabry Management.

In addition to his real estate background, Anil brings PropTech and startup consulting experience through his ongoing role as EVP at Zonetail and his involvement with Invenchure Alliance and Fidelity Equity Partners. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). Anil holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, as well as a BA in Economics/Business and a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA.
